Your trust matters to us. Here’s what we collect, why, and how we look after it.

Last updated: 13 October 2026

01What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the shop:

  • Order details — name, phone number, email, and delivery and billing address.
  • Account details — if you sign in to view your orders.
  • Enquiries — details you share through our gifting or contact forms.
  • Technical data — basic device and browser information, and items saved in your cart.

We never see or store your full card, UPI or bank details. Payments are handled by Razorpay under its own privacy policy.

02How we use it

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, and issue invoices.
  • To contact you about your order or enquiry.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the website secure.
  • To send order updates on WhatsApp or SMS, only if you choose to receive them.
  • To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

03Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the services that help us fulfil your order:

  • Payment processing (Razorpay).
  • Courier and delivery partners, to deliver your parcel.
  • Hosting and IT providers that run our website.
  • Government authorities, where required by law.

04Cookies & local storage

We use your browser’s storage to remember your cart and keep you signed in. These are essential for the shop to work. You can clear them from your browser settings at any time.

05How we protect it

Your data is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored on secured servers with restricted access. We keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal requirements, such as keeping tax records.

06Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you updates, by calling +91 92328 30133 or emailing sales@dihat.in. Some information may need to be kept where the law requires it.

07Children

Our website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
